1975年 東京都立芸術高等学校卒業
1980年 東京造形大学彫刻科卒業 裏千家業躰日々庵鈴木宗幹先生に茶道の教えをうける
1991年 京都嵯峨吉兆にて父子展開催
1993年 日本橋三越本店にて父子展開催 以後福岡等 各地にて開催
2001年 三代目治兵衛を襲名 木地師として七代目を継ぐ 日本橋三越本店襲名展以後 数年毎に展覧会開催
2009年 妙喜庵・待庵の炉縁製作
2010年 東京国立近代美術館工芸館 ｢現代工芸への視点茶事をめぐって｣展出品

Profile of Jihei Murase
1957 Born into a family of Kiji-shi(wood masters) which had been
established during the Edo period.
1980 Graduated from the Department of Sculpture Tokyo Zokei University.
2001 Succeeded to the role of Jihei Murase as the 3rd generation,(7th
generation of the family).
2010 Exhibition of “About the Tea Ceremony A Viewpoint of Contemporary
Kogei” held at The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo
2014 Yale University Asian Art Museum Display works to an exhibition held
at London Art Fair
2015 Exhibition of “Kōgei (Modern Crafts) and the Tea Ceremony from the
